Child Safety Standards

GnoosiS is a social application. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), and for any content or behaviour that endangers a minor. This page sets out the standards that apply to everyone who uses GnoosiS, how to report a concern, and what we do when we receive one.
1. Prohibited conduct and content
The following are strictly prohibited on GnoosiS, without exception:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, video, audio, drawings, computer-generated imagery, or text.
- Sexualisation of minors, including content that presents a minor in a sexualised manner, and sexualised commentary about a minor.
- Grooming — building a relationship with a minor in order to sexually exploit or abuse them, including any attempt to move a minor to another platform for that purpose.
- Sextortion — threatening to publish intimate material of a minor to obtain money, further material, or any other benefit.
- Trafficking or solicitation of a minor for sexual purposes.
- Promoting, normalising or facilitating any of the above, and linking to it elsewhere.
These rules apply to public content, private messages, profile information, usernames, and any other part of the service.
2. Age requirements
GnoosiS is not directed at children. Users must be at least 13 years old, and older where local law requires a higher minimum age for consent to data processing. Accounts we identify as belonging to a user below the applicable minimum age are removed.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age. If we learn that we have, we delete it. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled and how to request deletion.
3. How to report
Inside the app. Every publication, comment, profile and conversation has a Report option. Choose "Child safety" as the reason. Reports of this type are flagged as urgent and go to the front of the review queue. You do not need an email client, and you can report without contacting the other user.
By email. You can also write to juliojavier@gnoosis.com. Include enough detail to locate the content — a link, a username, or a description of where you saw it.
Blocking. Independently of reporting, you can block any user from their profile. Blocking stops that person's content from reaching you.
Reports can be submitted by any user, whether or not they are involved, and are treated confidentially.
4. What we do with a report
- Triage. Reports flagged as child safety are prioritised over all other categories.
- Review. A designated reviewer assesses the report against these standards.
- Action. Where the standards are breached we remove the content and terminate the account. Depending on severity we may also preserve the relevant records for the authorities.
- Reporting to authorities. Where we identify apparent child sexual abuse material or conduct that endangers a minor, we report it to the competent national authorities and cooperate with lawful requests, in accordance with applicable law in the jurisdictions where we operate.
We do not require the reporter to contact the authorities themselves, and we do not tell the reported user who filed the report.

6. Compliance
GnoosiS operates in line with:
- Google Play Child Safety Standards Policy and the Developer Programme Policies.
- Applicable national and regional legislation on the protection of minors and on reporting child sexual abuse material, in the territories where the app is distributed.
- Our own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
7. Changes
We update these standards as our product and the applicable rules evolve. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
