DevOps Engineer, CI/CD & Release Pipelines

Remote - Global

Apply

Empoorio was founded on the belief that creators and communities deserve a fair share of the value they create — real rewards, real ownership, without platform lock-in. Today we are building GnoosiS, the social super-app that connects users, creators, and advertisers through the DracmaS (DMS) token economy.

GnoosiS Backend runs on Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Messaging, and Analytics. You will ship APIs, data models, and infrastructure that scale with the app. We are looking for a talented, driven engineer to advance GnoosiS Backend capabilities and deliver production-quality features for GnoosiS. If you thrive in high-ownership environments where craft and shipping matter, this role will be a strong next step in your career.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Firebase infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation for GnoosiS
  • Automate deployments across GitHub Actions / Codemagic for mobile and backend services
  • Define SLOs, incident response playbooks, and capacity plans for production workloads
  • Implement secure secrets management, network policies, and supply-chain controls
  • Improve CI/CD for app releases across Dart, TypeScript, and containerized services

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, design, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering, design, or product (1+ for specialist IC tracks)
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first, async collaboration environment
  • Fluency in English for documentation, reviews, and partner communication

Preferred skills and experience

  • Experience with Flutter/Dart, Firebase, or comparable mobile/backend stacks
  • Contributions to Dart, TypeScript, Python, or Rust codebases used in production
  • Exposure to ad-tech, payments, or fraud-prevention systems
  • Background in mobile privacy engineering, encrypted messaging, or applied cryptography
  • Prior work with consumer social, creator-economy, or fintech products

Additional requirements

  • Willing to overlap with EU and Americas time zones for critical releases and incidents
  • Able to travel up to 10% for team summits, partner workshops, or conferences
  • Reliable home internet and secure workstation suitable for development on sensitive payment and identity code
